    Who cleans up the prior level and makes the beds before the new pair arrives?

    I was waiting for some cannibal crazy looking humans to run out of the darkness at the last level and eat the guy😂🤣

  13. i wonder why no one see over population problem as one of the reasons of the situation and solving it would a solution. If couples would have less than 2 children each, we would decrease resource consumption and after some time it would be enough food for everyone. Imagine there are only 10 people in the jail.

  15. Anybody else get that the government running this thing is socialist?

    – The top floor, central power ("The administration"), allows specific people into the system either via bureaucracy or crime, and is the only source of production (food)
    – The privileged (top floor) use the lack of accountability to abuse their position and get as much of the community fund as they can without regard to others' benefit.
    – The entire system is designed to train people to hate those who have more and disregard those who have less
    – Every month favoritism changes (like new socialist regimes)
    – The administration never shares any information with the inmates, and the information they share with their own people is lies (like the actual number of floors)
    – Joining the system can offer unmerited rewards (like academic accreditation in exchange for participation in a social experiment)
    – No behavior encourages serving your fellow men, no opportunities for productivity exist, and no one can improve their station without the help of the central authority

    Honestly, the only way in which The Hole isn't like a socialist system is that the people who are cooking the food seem to be doing a good job

    There gonna be this THREE types of person and always ever be. Or this can be translated into society ranking etc. Depends on what situations we read it in.

  29. after watching this movie, and wondering how the platform travels from level to level without chains or anything, i questioned alot of thing and came up with a theory. This prison is set in the Wizard World. House elves make the food and clean it up with magic, which also explains the floating platform. There's charms in each room to tell if youve stolen food and punish thosse who do. And it explains how people get teleported overnight to different rooms without waking up
