  1. Just subbed because this is the best! I love eating these but the only place that makes them wants to charge almost $4 per one! Now I can make my own, thank you ❤️

  2. your such a gem! I love making these and it's because of your helpful tutorials. I enjoy your helpful and educational explanations…THANK YOU

  3. I got hooked on moon cakes while I lived in Hawaii. Thank you so much for sharing your recipe so I can make these at home.

  4. Hi, very helpful video. I want to make this with a class of 2nd graders on a Friday afternoon. Can they be eaten right away, after they've cooled? And if not, would they still be fresh and tasty on the following Monday?

  5. +Marya Hoelzer this cake comes in so many filling variations, peanut butter or jam–or both would be really good. You can use any type of filling–sweet or savory as long as you can roll it into a ball.  Hope that helps!

  6. I can't seem to find Vanilla Sugar at any of my local food stores. I do have a few Asian food markets not too far away. Would I have better luck finding it there?

  7. Huh, why did it never occur to me to use a silicone mode?  Ha.  It was neat seeing you use the real moon cake mode as the ones I've seen in the past are different.  Very neat!  And these look like the kind of moon cakes I will actually enjoy eating.

  10. Hi, I have just taken a look on your channel today. Whoa, this is so cool. Your videos are really well edited, your recipes are easy to follow, I have subscribed "^^ But your voice in the vid is quite low. It woud be nicer if you turn the sound up or insert some music. That is just my personal opinion. Btw, good job ^^

  11. Yes, these moon cakes are enjoyed this time of the year in celebration of the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, this Thursday, Sept 19. It's the second most celebrated holiday after New Year's! Thanks for your suggestions, that's a wonderful idea and I will keep it in mind for future videos in the Viet Cooking 101 section.
