How to Install windows 7 or 8 on a Mac via bootcamp using a CD or USB


Here is a tutorial of how to install windows 7 or windows 8 on a mac book pro (retina) or a macbook air using either a usb or a cd.

1) download windows 7 or windows 8

Windows 7 download:


Windows 8 download:

serial key:




2) burin the .ISO image into a CD or a USB
3) download the latest windows support for mac and save them on a usb or cd
4) Make a partition and install windows
5)Install the windows supports
6) Subscribe 🙂

  2. hi. i tried to install windows 8.1 pro 64-bit on macos sierra mid 2011 and i thought the installion is succesful but it says restarting is needed, it boots the cd and starts with installation process again

  3. Help when I open boot camp and click continue it only give me 2 box to chose 
    (1) Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk
    (2) Download the latest windows support software from apple
    the third is install or remove windows 10 or later version but I can't check the third box please help

    here , it is somewhat more than 500MB but the older versions were about 600MB's
    so we are thankful….

  5. For those who can't replace info.plist:

    I manage to get it work. It needs to disable "System Integrity Protection"
    so reboot to recovery mode (restart computer and press cmd+R) and use Terminal (on the top, Utility-> Terinal) enter "csrutil disable"
    Then reboot back to OSX, you are able to replace modified Info.plist.
